I thought I would just inform you why I haven't posted anything about Silverlight 2.0 beta 2. I am in a "typically" beta situation... which means that the new beta doesn't work.

When SL 2 beta 2 came out, I uninstalled the SL2 beta 1 from my desktop, rebootet, and installed the new SL 2 beta 2. Somehow it managed to f*** something up. So everytime I try to create a SL 2 beta 2 project I get this error:

"Requested registry access is not allowed."

That is pretty annoying!

I have tryed to uninstall VS2008 and reinstall it, but it still gives me the same error. I have tryed to google the error message but haven't found a solution yet...

Last time I had a similar situation I went from XP to Vista, so I had to reinstall my OS anyway, but I refuse to reinstall Vista already!

If anybody out there have a solution to this, PLEASE let me know!

Same problem here. Silverlight is a wonderful thing, but it needs to be more reliable to succeed against Flash.

Yeah it's VERY frustrating...
After I posted this, i actually discovered that I'm not able to create ANY project types, or add files to an existing project. So now I have to copy/paste af similar file, and rename it when I want to extent my project.

I have tryed reinstalling VS2008, but without any luck... guess I need to reinstall vista all over, sadly...
